MedHortiCenter is active in the agri-food sector with emphasis on greenhouses. Additional fields of activity of MedHortiCenter are the integrated crop production systems, resource management, sustainable development of crop production systems, circular bioeconomy and digital agriculture.
MedHortiCenter bridges the gap between knowledge and research results and their exploitation by the business community and acts as an accelerator in the development of new investments, while at the same time supporting Greek companies to grow in the wider region.
MedHortiCenter’s vision is to become the most important development company in the field of greenhouse technologies and management in Greece and gradually to evolve into a reference company throughout the Mediterranean region.

The know-how and long-term (>25 years) experience of the company’s founders and especially the long and successful course of the Laboratory of Agricultural Constructions and Environmental Control under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nikolaos Katsoulas, constitute the foundation for the establishment of the company and at the same time the necessary condition for a successful course.
MedHortiCenter provides consulting services for the design and implementation of investments in greenhouse production systems, as well as services related to the monitoring of the production process. MedHortiCenter’s approach is based on simulation tools of the greenhouse-cultivation system, a database of product prices and production costs and scenario analysis. MedHortiCenter is able to provide educational services to business executives and producers active in greenhouse cultivation. Finally, MedHortiCenter provides applied research services and actively participates in the submission of proposals for the development of research projects.
